Short company description:
Willie: PM3 University is a consultancy firm that specializes in providing management and nonprofit services to a diverse range of clients. Their team of experts offer strategic planning, grant writing, program development and implementation services to help nonprofits achieve their goals and maximize their impact.
Rosa: I am currently a mental health therapist (independent contractor); that will open my own pratice in June, 2023. Also currently pursuing my Doctorate in Human and Organizational Psychology (graduation is May, 2024).
How do you define success?
Willie: For me, success is about helping my clients achieve their goals and make a positive difference in the world. It’s about working collaboratively with them to develop and implement effective strategies that help them achieve their mission and realize their vision. Success is also about building relationships and trust, and creating a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Rosa: Success is the ability to never give up. No matter what it looks like.
If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?
Willie: Helping others to succeed.
Rosa: My tenacity and persistence.
How has your business changed in the past 12 months?
Willie: I’m thrilled to say that my business has undergone significant changes over the past 12 months. The most significant change is my decision to move from serving private clients through mostly word of mouth to publicly stepping into the capacity building space. My business model now includes grant writing course for individuals and nonprofits in addition to the Nonprofit Launch a 100% done for you solution to starting a nonprofit. This has allowed me to expand my business footprint in the Jacksonville, First Coast area and beyond.
Rosa: Well, I went from being a full-time author of seven years, to being a full-time mental health therapist and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?
Willie: Over the next 12 months, my biggest goals for my business are to find new ways to serve individuals and nonprofits and implement solutions that will allow them to make an even greater social impact. As a Certified Fund Raising Executive, I’m passionate about helping under-resourced communities and ensuring that all nonprofits have access to the resources they need to succeed.
Rosa: Not only to grow my current business, but to be able to travel while doing it. I want to take mental health beyind the four walls of a building. Like consulting for companies, schools, etc.
