The MPN Network (also known as Mister Peterson’s Neighborhood) is a media company that concentrates on sharing the stories of various creators, including musicians, visual artists, podcasters, small businesses, and more.
How do you define success?
Success is having one or multiple goals and completing them on your terms, while leaving a positive influence to who the goals will benefit.
If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?
That I was one of the great individuals that added to the growth and success of Jacksonville, Florida entertainment culture.
How has your business changed in the past 12 months?
When I won an award for Best Black Music podcast in 2022, that exposed me to some great podcasters outside of Jacksonville, Florida. It gave my company more light and traction with consumers that exists in the podcasting and media world. It help me gain more followers, listeners, and believers of my work.
What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?
To learn how to delegate more. I would like to help the younger generation understand how media works and how storytelling is important to one’s culture, so having interns and developing solid partnerships with other like-minded entities would help my company scale.
