Faith First Preschool’s mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and loving environment for children to develop spiritually, academically, physically, and emotionally. We strive to build a partnership with families to develop the whole child so they can become self-confident, Christian leaders.
At Faith First Preschool, we embrace diversity and inclusion. We foster individuality and cultural knowledge in every moment. We learn through inclusiveness and empower through education.
How do you define success?
Success is being able to love what you do and live what you love! It’s not about money in the bank but a feeling of being part of such a bigger calling – impacting people from the heart and mentoring great leaders of tomorrow.
If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?
My passion for children and wanting to positively impact our community.
How has your business changed in the past 12 months?
12 months ago we just opened our doors and had a staff of three people and enrollment of three students from infants to one year olds. Today we have a staff of 13 (and still hiring) along with 55 enrolled students from ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. We have been licensed by the state, accept both the school readiness voucher and the military subsidies. We are a Gold Seal Provider and are accredited through Florida League of Christian Schools and are starting a Kindergarten program in the fall.
What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?
To hire some resources to help add more substance to our curriculum. Adding the Kindergarten program in the fall with future expansion plans and acquiring a little more space for our preschool to grow.
