“Ignite Success” with Vickie Pappas, Ivani Greppi, and Gawain Bracy II

On “Ignite Success,” Sherrie Clark welcomes outstanding leaders to this uplifting and interesting show, filled with practical advice and tips for business professionals. This week, Sherrie sits down with Vickie Pappas from Phileo Blessings, author Ivani Greppi, and Gawain Bracy II from Creative Organization DAO.

Short company description:

Vickie: Blessings along the way was written to spread encouragement and God’s love to others.

Ivani: Cast Out: Chronicles of a Familiar Spirit
Ivani Greppi was born in Brazil. Her ancestors were spiritist mediums. Throughout her childhood, Ivani experienced seeing spirits. At the age of 14, in Brazil, she was indoctrinated into Umbanda, a spiritual practice derived from the African Yoruba, Ifá faith, syncretized with spiritism and Roman Catholicism. In 1997, she met a Brazilian missionary pastor in Florida who led Ivani and her family to salvation in Jesus Christ. This fictional story is based on Ivani’s and her ancestors’ spiritual and immigration journey across three continents, spanning one hundred years.

Gawain: We believe in the future of the creator economy and are introducing a platform to launch digital assets for creators and brands to incentivize from.

A gamified blockchain platform for independent creators, fans, and brands to collaborate directly and earn rewards using P2E DeFi incentives.

How do you define success?

Vickie: Making a positive difference in the lives of others and leaving them feeling Gods love and encouragement.

Ivani: Success to me is doing whatever glorifies God in thanksgiving for all He has done for us.

Gawain: As a DAO founder, I measure success by the following goals:

  • Project Completion
  • Community Engagement
  • Financial Stability
  • Reputation
  • Innovation

If you could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?

Vickie: That I left a positive impact bringing Joy to the lives of others.

Ivani: Reaching many for Christ, especially those involved in the occult as I was in the past.

Gawain: Making a change to the creative industry.

How has your business changed in the past 12 months?

Vickie: Since the book came out I have been invited to travel to different cities doing book signings and speaking engagements.

Ivani: I have been invited by several Christian podcasts to share my deliverance and salvation story.

Gawain:

  • Increased adoption: The number of DAOs has increased significantly in the past 12 months, with more organizations embracing the concept of decentralized decision-making and ownership. This has led to a more diverse range of DAOs, covering a wide range of industries and use cases.
  • Growth in DeFi DAOs: Decentralized Finance (DeFi) has been a major driver of growth in the DAO space, with more DAOs focused on financial services such as lending, borrowing, and asset management. DeFi DAOs have seen significant adoption, with many achieving significant scale and traction in the market.
  • Advancements in DAO technology: DAO technology has continued to evolve, with new platforms and tools being developed to make it easier to create and manage DAOs. This includes new governance mechanisms, smart contract templates, and integration with other blockchain-based applications.
  • Emergence of MetaDAOs: MetaDAOs are DAOs that are designed to manage other DAOs. They provide a layer of abstraction and coordination that can help multiple DAOs work together towards common goals. MetaDAOs have emerged as a way to address the complexity of managing multiple DAOs, which can have different governance models and decision-making processes.
  • Increased regulatory scrutiny: As DAOs have gained more traction and mainstream attention, they have also come under increased regulatory scrutiny. Governments around the world are grappling with how to regulate DAOs, which are inherently decentralized and often operate across borders. This has led to a variety of approaches, from outright bans to more permissive regulatory frameworks.

What are your biggest goals in the next 12 Months for your business?

Vickie: To continue to share and spread God’s love to others through my book Blessings Along the Way.

Ivani: Presently, Cast Out is in the editing phase of the Portuguese version.

Gawain:

  • Increase membership
  • Launch successful projects
  • Increase community engagement
  • Achieve financial sustainability
  • Promote innovation
  • Foster diversity and inclusivity
